SAS: Women allowed to join for first time

Women will be able to apply for any British military role for the first time, the defence secretary has said. Gavin Williamson announced that all combat roles were now open to women, including serving in special forces units such as the SAS. City’s largest hotel snapped up by London property company as it splashes £109m nationally on acquisitions. Plymouth’s largest hotel has been snapped up by a property company in a £30million deal. The United States Secret Service intercepted two “suspicious packages” addressed to former President Barack Obama and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton earlier this week, the agency said Wednesday. Neither Obama nor Clinton received the packages or were at risk of receiving them, the Secret Service said.
